Any great relationship that weathers storms starts with a foundation of friendship, mutual respect, and courtesy. Anything less falls short when simple conflicts arise, as they are inevitable. However, by following the simple rules of loyalty, humility, respect for both the relationship and for each other, many (mostly) trivial discussions can end with growth instead of discord. I am romantic guitar-wielding musician (just a hobby of 30 years), and love just spending time with someone special.
